Not just going from half duplex to full duplex but reducing effects of reflections. As such that would increase signal to noise ratio, depending on how much gain in signal to noise ratio could enable significant throughput increase, power reduction or some tradeoff.
I am one of the founders of GenXComm. Thank you for your interest in the full duplex technology. We claim 30x benefit in the unlicensed spectrum by significantly improving channel access and reducing collisions. The listen while talk capability of full duplex makes CSMA CA very efficient.
Even if they can get this to work--and I'm skeptical--where are these bold claims coming from? I thought the theoretical data gain in going from half-duplex to full-duplex was two-fold, not "three- to thirty-fold". I must be missing something.
