NO RATINGS
This should be a very productive agreement for both parties. There is a wide technology and expertise gap between the mainstream chip companies and the maintream Auto OEMs .... and so intermediate 'sub system' companies have an important role to perform.  And so a Tier 1 Auto industry sub system vendor is a necessary catalyst to rapid and accurate market development and entry - especially as market time lines are compressing and the cost of getting it wrong is rising. The days of total vertical integration are mostly past, and so strategic alliances between leaders are todays necessity to complete the product development cycle in phase with market requirements on time and on budget.  Robert Blair, RNB International, San Jose, CA, USA.
