Tom covers the intersection of digital technology and health care.

As an independent public relations consultant in Silicon Valley for 25+ years, he helped introduce electronic devices that made important contributions to desktop and laptop computing, the mobile revolution, and the wearable market.

A recent hospital experience introduced him to the need for much more effective communications capabilities throughout the health care system.

In addition to blogging for Electronic Engineering Times, he has a Facebook Page: 360Health: Body, Mind and Community in the Digital Age  (https://www.facebook.com/360health.mobi/?fref=ts).

Tom also speaks and writes widely on balancing the cultures of technology and the humanities.  His e-book on this subject, Reconnecting.calm: Finding Common Ground for Science, Technology and the Human Spirit, is available at Kindle, Nook, and Google Play.  More information at: www.reconnectingcalm.com.
